Ken Robinson MS, CFP®
Ken Robinson is a certified financial planner™ practitioner with over 25 years of experience designing and managing investment portfolios for high-net-worth individuals and families. He provides ongoing advice to clients in all aspects of integrated wealth management, including retirement planning, income tax planning, estate planning, charitable giving, education planning, and risk management. He founded KCR Wealth Management in 2014 to provide clients with the customized planning and unbiased advice that is so lacking in today's financial services industry.
Ken graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a bachelor's degree in Economics and earned his Master of Science degree in Finance from Georgia State University. He is a former adjunct professor for Virginia Commonwealth University’s financial planning certificate program and has mentored many junior advisors throughout his career. Ken has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, Investment News, and various industry publications, as well as appearing on CNN Newsource. Ken has been named a Top Financial Professional by Northern Virginia Magazine and a Top Fee-Only Financial Planner by Washingtonian Magazine for 10 consecutive years.
Ken is a member of the Financial Planning Association and is a past President of the Board of Directors for the Financial Planning Association's National Capital Area Chapter. He has been a volunteer for Junior Achievement of the National Capital Area in the financial literacy programs for local schools and is active in pro bono financial planning efforts throughout the DC metropolitan area.
